I started working in the kitchen as a thirteen year old washer-upper and immediately loved the atmosphere and the adrenaline of a busy service.
By fifteen I was helping the chefs with prep and taking on more and more responsibility. At age sixteen the head chef persuaded me to come into the kitchen full time as an apprentice chef, and it was there at Calcot Manor in Tetbury, Gloucesterhire that I started my career. From Calcot I progressed to running kitchens in some of the great eateries in the Cotswolds.
I now live in Sixt-Fer-a-Cheval in the French Alps and work freelance for private individuals, chalet companies and restaurants in the surrounding areas such as Samoëns, Morzine and Chamonix. I am also happy to travel to your private chalet, villa or yacht to deliver outstanding cuisine.
